Kevin Filipczak

Kevin began dancing at the age of 6, training in both International Ballroom and Latin styles. Despite initially having more success in Ballroom, at 12 he decided to focus on the Latin American dances. What began with smaller local competitions, later turned into representing the United States globally. Kevin continues to train with his world-renowned coaches in New York and California in order to further advance his knowledge and experience. Kevin enjoys to work with students of all ages to further relay his love and knowledge of dance. He has helped numerous dancers rank high at prestigious competitions as well as prepare for any planned events.

– 9-time Ohio Star Ball finalist
– Finalist of all local, regional and national U.S. Competitions
– Pre-Teen Ballroom National Champion
– Junior Blackpool Team USA representative
– Junior Blackpool semi-finalist
– International Dance Festival Under-21 Vice-Champion
– Winner of Emerald Ball Los Angeles, California
– 3-Time U.S. representative at the WDSF Worlds (Moldova, Latvia, South Korea)

He continues to compete professionally with his partner in the Amateur Open Latin Division.
